The Midwives Collective started in 2005 with a group of women artists who inspired each other to keep the creative juices flowing post-art college education by curating exhibitions with unique ideas from an intimate gallery space. Since it's beginning, the Midwives Collective has expanded our mission to connect to the broader art community and to coordinate a social consciousness with our artistic goals through our curated shows and workshops.

We welcome those who share a passion and lively devotion to art.
